As the founder and director of marketing at Moxie Creative, Kelly brings 31 years of experience, passion, and expertise to every project. A marketing strategist, account manager, and copywriter rolled into one, Kelly is dedicated to ensuring your goals are met and your expectations exceeded.
Her career is marked by a history of helping businesses grow through smart, effective marketing initiatives—and earning industry recognition along the way. Kelly holds a master’s degree in public relations from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville and a bachelor’s degree in technical communication from Michigan Technological University.
When she’s not shaping brands or crafting campaigns, Kelly enjoys life in St. Cloud with her husband Eddie, her children, Ryan and Maya, when they’re home from college.
Michael Nelsen
Creative Director / Web Developer
Michael is a creative powerhouse with more than 25 years of experience as an award-winning graphic designer, illustrator, and web designer. As Moxie Creative’s creative director and web developer, he bridges the gap between visual design and technology, crafting user-friendly websites that bring brands to life.
But Michael’s talents don’t stop there—he’s also a writer, illustrator, and comic book publisher, bringing a unique artistic edge to every project. A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Michael holds degrees in Fine Art and Computer Animation.
At home in St. Cloud, Michael enjoys life with his wife, Kelly, and their two sons, Johnathan and Benjamin.
Taylor Sellnow
Account Manager | Copywriter
Taylor is a resourceful and detail-oriented account manager who thrives on making connections and keeping projects on track. As the bridge between clients and the Moxie team, she ensures every step is clear, efficient, and focused on delivering results.
Her true talent lies in crafting engaging content—whether it’s clever social posts, captivating blogs, or website copy that resonates. With ten years of experience and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of St. Thomas, Taylor combines strategy with creativity to make every word count.
When she’s not wordsmithing and meeting with clients, Taylor enjoys life with her fiancé, Tyler, and their two children, Colt and Nellie.
Brittany Abrego
Graphic Designer | Project Manager
Brittany is an accomplished graphic designer with a knack for crafting eye-catching assets across traditional and digital media. From print and digital publications to websites, social media, and email campaigns, she’s passionate about helping brands stand out and grow.
Beyond design, Brittany brings her organizational expertise to project management, keeping everything on track and ensuring clients’ visions come to life seamlessly. With 14 years of agency experience and a bachelor’s degree in graphic design (plus a minor in fine arts) from South Dakota State University, she blends creativity with precision in every project.
Brittany lives in St. Cloud with her husband, Mike, their son, Brooks, and soon-to-be baby boy #2.
Mo Philippi

Mo is an award-winning graphic designer, illustrator, and all-around creative problem-solver (not to mention a pretty great guy). With 20 years of diverse experience, he’s known for pushing the boundaries of design and delivering work that’s as innovative as it is effective.
A lifelong student of design, Mo brings a wealth of expertise to every project, keeping his clients’ goals front and center. Beyond his role as a senior graphic designer, Mo wears many hats: video editor, animator, photographer, collaborator, and, occasionally, donut deliverer.
Mo lives in St. Joseph with his wife, Missy, and their two daughters, Cosette and Margo.
Isabella Severson
Social Media Specialist | Account Coordinator
As Moxie’s resident Gen Z-er, Isabella brings a fresh perspective and a pulse on what’s trending to every project. Whether she’s crafting social media strategies or managing client accounts, her enthusiasm and knack for staying on-brand keep the team energized and ahead of the curve.
Before joining Moxie, Isabella honed her skills at a national marketing technology start-up, where she discovered her passion for marketing and mastered the art of wearing many hats.
Originally from St. Cloud, Isabella now calls Minneapolis home, where she continues to explore new ideas and creative opportunities.
Tyler Schmitz
Graphic Designer | Illustrator
Tyler is a versatile graphic designer, illustrator, and video editor with a strong background in developing brand identities. After spending seven years in the corporate world, he made the switch to the agency side to let his creativity truly shine as part of Moxie’s design team.
With a sharp eye for design and a passion for crafting visual solutions, Tyler excels at telling compelling stories and driving impactful results. As a Central Minnesota native, Tyler has a B.A. degree in Graphic Design from St. Cloud State University.
Tyler currently resides in Monticello with his partner, Kimberly, and their furry friends.
Eddie Valentine
Director of Office Operations | Handyman
Every office needs a Mr. Fix It, and at Moxie, that’s Eddie. Whether he’s changing lightbulbs, fixing toilets, repairing our cars, or firing up the grill, he keeps things running smoothly—both in and out of the office.
With a knack for solving problems and a sense of humor that keeps the team laughing, Eddie brings a little extra heart to Moxie.
