Why would a customer pick your sauce, cheese, or snack over the one next to it?
Why would a retailer, distributor, or chef choose you over a supplier they already know?
Whether you sell at the farmers market, in stores, online, or to other businesses, people decide in seconds, often from the package. Clear, appetizing packaging and a brand story people remember help a food product earn its first purchase and the next one.
Moxie Creative helps food producers, manufacturers, and specialty food brands build brands and packaging that stand out, make product lines easy to shop, and keep working everywhere customers find you.

The Challenge: Hops Direct is the direct-to-brewer arm of Puterbaugh Farm, a fifth-generation family hop farm in Washington’s Yakima Valley. In early 2024, they came to Moxie to strengthen their social media presence. With a rich family history and an established customer base, they wanted to reach more brewers, build stronger connections, and turn social engagement into sales.
The Solution: After an account audit and industry research, we built an organic social media strategy around brand storytelling that showcased the family, the farm, and five generations of hop-growing expertise; educational reels and hop spotlights; and sales campaigns with strategic product promotions and calls to action. All results were achieved organically, without paid advertising or boosted posts, and the work earned a Gold ADDY for Social Media Excellence.
A food package has a lot of jobs. It has to look appetizing, tell people what’s inside and where it comes from, carry the required nutrition and ingredient information, and hold up through production and shipping.
We design labels and packaging systems that do all of that and make room for new flavors and sizes as your line grows.

For a cottage food producer heading into its first stores, “now” might be a logo, labels for your best sellers, and a simple sell sheet. A website and expanded packaging can follow as orders grow. For an established manufacturer, it might be a packaging refresh, a product line extension, or materials for a trade show or buyer meeting.
You get a plan you can act on, with clear priorities and costs, and no pressure to buy more than you need.
Your product might be picked up from a grocery shelf, a farmers market table, a deli case, or a website. We design packaging and branding that read quickly in each of those places and make your product line easy to shop.
Nutrition panels, ingredient lists, allergen statements, and other required information take up real space on a package. We plan for them from the start and work with your printers and packaging suppliers, so designs are ready for production.

Retail buyers, distributors, and food service customers need a reason to say yes. Sell sheets, trade show materials, websites, and social media give your sales team a clear, consistent story to tell.
Strategy, naming, branding, packaging, websites, photography, video, and marketing all come from one team, so your brand stays consistent from the label to the website to the trade show booth.
